Переглядів 1,3 тис.11 років тому
People otern ask me if stainless cleaning makes any difference, well heres the proof 100 308 once fired cases after 21/2 hours after tumbling. Notice how dirty the water is and you can just see how much the cases shine. The STM kits are availbile in the UK and Europe from www.1967spud.com in the USA at www.stainlesstumblingmedia.com..Enjoy.

A quick film on the second round of the UK F Class League for 2012. This was a two day shoot in Snowy Scotland at the world famous Blair Atholl range and was shot at 1000 yards. Competitors were string firing for preparation for next years world championships in Raton New Mexico. Weather was either sun or snow and not a lit in betwean.

Rifle case faults.
Переглядів 6 тис.12 років тому
Rifle case faults. "The primary cause of case failure is pressure. If you are loading toward the high end of the pressure spectrum for your calibre and bullet weight, you are subjecting your cases to high pressures and shortening their life."

Where is Scott Parker located? Any contact info?
2 for sale
can you reprime cases with an armor press?
Which size hex wrench will i need to open it?
Thanks for video.
I think Harrel is made for ball of flake. Maybe N110 N120 would meter consistently too.
Alot of older comments are you still shooting 6.5x284 Norma. Thank you.
I only use pistol powder and stuff the case with paper wading and fire.
Very cool indeed!!!! 🐕
Lmao Scott Parker “tuned” scales ⚖️. In hindsight I can see how guys got wrapped up in this load of nonsense. At that time when forms were the only thing someone could look into for guidance and UA-cam just becoming a thing. It would be very hard not to think maybe my loads aren’t doing well because of my beam. I wonder how much money Scott really made off this. I know that there was a 2 year period when this Scott scale tuner guy had quite a few guys SERIOUSLY pissed. Because he was playing them like fiddles. Apparently telling them he would be mailing their “tuned” scales out in a week then not doing it leading them on for months. From what I read on some of the old forum posts some guys didn’t get their “tuned” scale for up to a year even worse apparently some never received their scale to this day. I’m so glad this sort of crap isn’t as easy or prevalent in the hobby anymore. It’s really sad that this kind of crap was happening to begin with. Most new people to the hobby think the 2a community is just a bunch of honest people. And it is for the most part but just like anything else. There is always someone out there trying to separate you from your hard earned cash. Btw my used EBay Rcbs 10 10 will show 1 kernel of IMR4320. Who knows maybe my used unit was “tuned” by the great Scott Parker.
28" Hart, 12" Twist, Zero freebore, 48.5g of Win 760, Rem brass, CCI 250, 70g Nosler ballistic tips gets small SD, with single bullet hole groups, this is no where near a max load and also gives very long barrel life. We also shot 70g Speer tnt, 68g Bergers, 69g Bergers with the exact same load with bullet seated .003 off the lands. In a 30", 12T Hart with zero freebore, max load for accuracy was 50.5g of win 760 at 4030 fps, Rem case, cci 250, 70g Nosler BT. Win 760, AA2700, H414 give exceptional barrel life, and we were shooting p. dogs!
I would like more info on the Sinclair Pres
My 1/4 minute rifle becomes a two minute rifle at 1000 yards. That’s my iron sight match conditioned Service Rifle in .223,shot from sling support. Two issues, the first is wind and the second is recognizing a consistent sight picture.
Am interested in your hand loader what is it
🇦🇺😎👍
We can barely hear you my friend the audio is so low
Looks like a dam quick set up for reloading
Get a stronger bench top . 💪
I absolutely love this powder thrower! I trust it more than any of my digital scales. It is so precise that I have to go three clicks before my digital scales will even read that it changed. It is wicked accurate!
I never trust Aussies or English when it comes to anything involving firearms because they gave away their right to own firearms.
Thanks
Pretty neat setup, very simple. I’m sure your ammo is spot on.
Great video What kind of press were you using in the very first part of the video It’s looking nothing I’ve ever seen before Thanks
An arbor press i think is what you were looking at
Just purchased this piece of kit , thanks for the review it’s helpful
you didnt mention any of the issues with the scale and what was tuned ....
1800 dollars later. Never got the damn attachment to work for video. Anyone want to buy it.
Do you think hot glue can be used safely instead of soap?
Very educational. From Canada.
Sorry, the die won't do anything at all adjusted that way. It doesn't begin to size the case neck until the shellholder contacts the collet and then MOVES the collet (and case) up into the die body. I do hope you'll carefully read the instructions and re-do your video. Nicely shot and narrated video otherwise! I recommend disassembling the die as well. It then becomes very clear how it works.
I bought a Hawkeye earlier this week and I can't believe how clear I can see. It's an amazing piece of equipment for sure. I did not get the side view model as it cost nearly 1k more and that seems a bit too much for me.
What's your powder dropper? I have a just on Lyman electronic powder measure but that thing looks awesome
The way things are today can I use oatmeal as a substitute for my primers?!?
Germans fireformed captured Russian 85mm artillery casings into 88mm.
Thank you man. Great video. 👍 I want to get one of the Husqvarna m98 in 9.3x57 from tradeexcanada but I would have to make my own brass out of 8mm mauser cases by fireforming. All I want is a short range woods \ moose gun. And the 9.3x57 would be perfect. I saw them for as low as 260$ at tradeexcanada😁
Love my 6.5x284 Norma got lucky and had 2 great loads in my first handloads.
Freebore, throat or leade?
Redding 16?
Ok, I'm new to actually using the turrets. At 4:30 it makes perfect sense that the turrets says 2.5 on it and its 2.5 moa but at 4:45 turret says 4.5 and you say 14.5moa. Wtf? Isn't that 4.5 moa? Please help
I cannot understand what he is saying. Is there a translation?
Type Speedy!
50 foot inches????? I will do this and to mount scope and do the light shine thru scope to confirm/ project vertical against a known true vertical.
Will be getting my RCBS 10-10 scale from Scott Parker soon 👍👍
do you know if he still tunes them? and how do I get in touch with him?
Where do you find the loading data for fibre wads?
Those imperfections and tears in the metal are from chips dragging. The "horizontal" marks are because the broach cutter is, by its nature, perpendicular to the bore as it's pulled through and any clearance between the guide and the barrel causes chattering as it cuts the metal.
All to be raised to be shot in a few month by so called hunters. What a pitty.
Appreciate the clear & honest video. If possible, pls do another with an unmovable anchor-point, so only the Gauge can be judged, again, with a stubborn charge-type, as you did. In reality, we do cut the Charge... If I may be a real pain, pls do 100 Throughs & measure the first & last 5 on a Beam Scale ?
